STRUCTURE-LOCK RS

STRUCTURE-LOCK RS™ utilizes interlocking aluminum composite material panels to create an outer rainscreen cladding that sheds water while allowing positive air flow between the panel and waterproofed substrate to dry the cavity and prevent mold and corrosion problems. The panels interlock, providing fast, simple installation and eliminating the need for expensive perimeter attachment extrusions and caulking common to existing ACM systems. In addition, the interlocking panels create very clean site lines.
All of the panels in the STRUCTURE-LOCK RS™ system, including the soffit panels, parapet panels, corner panels, columns and other architectural details, have been pre-engineered . Using these pre-engineered panels simplifies the design of a building’s exterior and results in a quality rainscreen system that meets ASTM standards. In fact, the system has been successfully tested by a third party testing laboratory to a 90 PSF wind loading and meets ASTM standards for a 60 PSF system.
The ability of the STRUCTURE-LOCK RS™ system to withstand extremely high wind loading is due to the unique interlocking bracket design. Though very strong, the brackets reduce material requirements when compared to designs that use perimeter extrusions. These brackets also allow for the thermal expansion and contraction of the ACM panels.
